AI-Powered Writing Assistant: Ask, Verify, and See the Evidence
About this check
If you are looking for an AI-powered writing assistant that can do more than generate text, start with the question or claim you need to check. VOM can return a verdict, a confidence score, and any sources it found for that checked claim. You can open those sources yourself.
That gives you a direct path from uncertainty to an answer you can inspect. The verdict may be true, false, or inconclusive. When the available evidence cannot settle a claim, VOM reports it as inconclusive instead of forcing a yes-or-no answer.
The direct way to check a claim
Enter the claim you want reviewed. VOM checks claims using web search and shows the sources it found. If the claim closely matches an earlier check and is not time-sensitive, VOM can reuse that check.
You can also check text inside a screenshot. VOM reads the text in the image, so you can submit a forwarded image without retyping its claim. When an uploaded image appears to be AI-generated, VOM warns you.
The result is designed for inspection rather than blind acceptance: read the verdict, consider the confidence score, and open the sources attached to that checked claim. The sources are part of the verification response, not a promise that every ordinary conversation answer includes source attribution.
The manual method
You can also investigate a claim yourself:
- Write down the exact statement you want to check.
- Search for that statement and related wording.
- Open the results that appear relevant.
- Compare what those sources say, including whether they support, contradict, or fail to settle the claim.
- Decide whether the claim is true, false, or still inconclusive.
This method gives you control over what you read, but the checking work remains yours. You have to identify the claim in a screenshot yourself unless you use a tool that reads it, judge which results are relevant, compare the evidence, and decide how confident to be. A search result is not the same thing as a settled verdict.
The manual route also stops where the evidence stops. If reliable material points in different directions, or does not answer the exact claim, the honest result is uncertainty. A responsible verification tool should preserve that uncertainty rather than manufacture a definite answer.
What VOM does beyond verification
VOM also supports natural back-and-forth conversations for everyday questions, learning, brainstorming, writing, and planning. It answers in the language you are using across its eight supported languages.
Its article-sharing pipeline still publishes if AI image or video generation is blocked, fails, or is exhausted. Separately, VOM can turn a written idea into a generated image. It also offers local, world, and trending feeds of circulating claims.
Without an account, VOM allows five AI actions per UTC day, shared across questions, verifications, and image generation. That limit applies across those activities, so a question and an image generation use the same daily allowance.
When the answer is inconclusive
An inconclusive result is useful information. It tells you that the checked claim cannot be responsibly reduced to true or false from the evidence available to the check. Open the sources, inspect what they actually establish, and keep the distinction between an unanswered question and a disproved claim.
