This document is provided in English for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy between this translation and the original Spanish version, the Spanish version shall prevail.
By accessing or using VOM ("the platform", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including anonymous visitors and registered account holders.
VOM is an AI-powered real-time information verification platform. The platform uses artificial intelligence and live web search to analyze claims and provide verdicts with sources and confidence levels.
VOM is an informational tool only. Our verdicts represent the best evidence available at the time the query was processed and should not be treated as legal, medical, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
You may use VOM without creating an account, subject to anonymous usage limits. To access higher usage tiers and personal history features, you must create an account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
You agree to use VOM only for lawful purposes. You must not:
— Submit queries designed to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content — Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls — Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or abuse the platform — Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our systems — Submit third parties' personal information without their consent — Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm individuals or groups — Misrepresent our verdicts or present them out of context to mislead
VOM uses artificial intelligence and live web search to analyze claims and generate verdicts (VERDAD / MENTIRA / INDETERMINADO), confidence scores, and analysis. These outputs are probabilistic evaluations based on publicly available information at the time of the query. VOM makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any verdict, analysis, or source. AI systems are inherently fallible and may produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated results. Verdicts are analytical assessments, not definitive statements of fact. They do not constitute legal, professional, or factual determinations. Information can change after a verdict is issued. You acknowledge that you use VOM at your own risk and that you are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it for any purpose.
You agree that you will not rely on any verdict, analysis, confidence score, or content generated by VOM for any decision of legal, financial, medical, professional, or other material consequence without conducting your own independent verification. VOM is strictly an informational tool.
All content, design, code, and intellectual property of VOM is owned by or licensed to the platform. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without explicit written permission.
Verdicts and analyses produced by the platform are provided for your personal use. You may share individual verdicts with attribution to VOM, but you may not republish them in bulk or present them as your own work.
Free accounts are subject to usage limits as shown in the platform interface. These limits may change at any time with reasonable notice.
Paid subscription plans are billed in advance on monthly cycles. Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record, and Paddle’s refund terms apply: subscriptions are non-refundable except where consumer law requires it, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for buyers in the EU and UK. You may cancel at any time from your profile or Paddle’s customer portal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any plan or feature at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paid subscribers.
VOM may offer a referral program that allows registered users to invite others to create an account through a personal referral link.
To be eligible, the referred person must use a valid referral link or code before creating a new account. Existing accounts do not qualify. Attribution belongs to the first valid code captured and cannot later be transferred. Both the referrer's and referred person's accounts must remain open and in good standing until the reward is granted.
A referral becomes qualified only after the referred person creates a properly attributed new account and completes their first successful verification. Account creation alone does not generate a reward.
For every three (3) qualified referrals, VOM automatically grants the referring user thirty (30) days of promotional Pro access at no cost. If an active promotional Pro period already exists, the 30 days are added to the end of that period. Rewards accumulate: every three additional qualified referrals grant another 30 days.
Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for money or any other benefit, and may be applied only to the referring user's own account. The recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes.
When recommending or promoting VOM with a referral link, you must clearly disclose that you may receive 30 days of Pro if the invited person creates an account and completes their first verification.
You may not refer yourself. Where VOM reasonably determines that fraud, abuse, or manipulation has occurred — including fake or duplicate accounts, automation, or attempts to circumvent the rules — VOM may review the activity and withhold, deny, revoke, or adjust related rewards.
VOM may modify, suspend, or terminate the program, its qualification criteria, or reward value. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of material changes. We may act immediately where necessary because of fraud, security, legal requirements, or technical failures. Changes will apply prospectively and will not affect rewards already granted unless they were issued because of fraud, error, or a violation of these terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VOM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you have made no payment.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VOM and its operators from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Sacramento County, California, or before the competent state or federal courts of that county.
Class Action Waiver. You agree that any dispute resolution or arbitration will be conducted strictly on an individual basis. You expressly waive any right to bring, participate in, or act as a class member in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against VOM. The arbitrator or court shall not consolidate multiple users' claims or preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to VOM at any time, with or without prior notice, for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may cancel your account at any time by requesting its deletion through the platform. Upon cancellation, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last updated.

VOM is built and operated by an independent developer. Payments and invoicing are handled by Paddle as merchant of record; the specific Paddle contracting entity depends on the buyer’s location and is identified in Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Billing enquiries can be directed to Paddle or to hola@vom-app.com.
These Terms may be provided in multiple languages for user convenience. However, in the event of any conflict, ambiguity, or inconsistency between the Spanish version of these Terms and any other translated version, the Spanish version shall strictly control and prevail.
